Heroic qualify for StarSeries i

Heroic have booked their spot at StarSeries i-League Season 4 after beating EnVyUs 2-1 in the Europe closed qualifier.

Envy met HEROIC in the first semi-final of the qualifier after defeating Space Soldiers and GODSENT, respectively, in the previous stage of the eight-team bracket.

Starting out as Terrorists on their opponents' map pick, Nuke, the Frenchmen got off to a great start in the match, winning eight straight rounds without response. HEROIC still found a lifeline by securing the following four rounds, and then the second pistol, but Envy would not let a comeback happen, closing out the map with a 16-7 scoreline.

Heroic came from behind to beat EnVyUs

Envy, who were fielding Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss and Bryan "⁠Maka⁠" Canda instead of Cédric "⁠RpK⁠" Guipouy and Alexandre "⁠xms⁠" Forté, began Inferno with another successful Terrorist pistol. HEROIC immediately responded in the next round, however, to secure a 3-1 lead.

From that point, the Danes were simply far too hot to handle, and kept shutting down Envy' strategies. Up 11-4, HEROIC quickly finished things off with a flawless T-side.

The decider map, Train, was yet another one-sided affair. HEROIC were the ones who got the best out of it, losing only five rounds as Terrorists. Just like on Inferno, the Danish squad came out of the break with all guns blazing, and easily wrapped things up, 16-7, to secure their spot at StarSeries i-League Season 4.
