ESC defeats Na`Vi in SLTV StarSeries

In the first matchup between former Counter-Strike 1.6 giants ESC Gaming and Natus Vincere the Poles were able to come out with a convincing 16-8 win on de_train_se (13-2, 3-6).
The Poles started off on the right foot as they won the opening pistol round as counter-terrorists without much trouble, only losing two players as Na`Vi's outer attack was shut down.
True to their 1.6 playing style, Na`Vi only saved once before buying, but ESC won an easy round to make it 4-0 after the Ukrainians were forced to save once more. Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas then defeated Yegor "markeloff" Markelov in a one-on-one to make it 5-0.
ESC were well on their way to winning the next round as well, but Danilo "Zeus" Teslenko and Markelov found a way to win a two-on-four by splitting up all across the map to give Na`Vi their first round.
Na`Vi's in-game leader Zeus was their strongest player today
Na`Vi kept on struggling as their closest of the next six rounds was another two-on-four effort by Markelov and Teslenko, but the Polish side kept grinding out rounds as they extended their lead to a whopping 11-1.
The Ukrainians would go up to a five-on-three in numbers next round, but Wojtas' three kills allowed ESC To win the round. Na`Vi finally scored their second round, as Teslenko rushed middle for three AK47 frags.
Last round of the first half went to the Polish side as well with Wojtas leading all players in fragging at over twenty, but after switching sides Na`Vi finally got some grip at the match.
NEO had a better night today versus Na`Vi than at DreamHack
ESC's early buy proved unsuccessful, and despite an early bomb plant at 13-6, Arzeny "ceh9" Trynozhenko's three quick kills allowed Na`Vi to win their fifth round of the half.
The Poles managed to break down Na`Vi's defense on the inner site on round six, but Na`Vi recovered, winning the next round to force ESC on weak buy that only saw them afford two AK47s.
Those two AKs were enough though, as ESC won their fifteenth round, followed up by a two-on-three afterplant win by Filip "NEO" Kubski and Wojtas on the outer bombsite for a 16-8 win. SLTV StarSeries IVBest of 1 ESC
